Father's Day Crafts

Photo Cube

Instructions

	Take 6 3 1/2" floppy disks
	Lay one disk face down and glue four disks (one disk to each side) and glue the last disk on the top to make a box.
	Cut 5 pieces of construction paper so they fit on the floppy disk, leaving the metal at the bottom exposed.
	Use double-stick tape to attach one picture to each piece of construction paper and then use the double-stick tape to tape one picture onto each side and onto the top floppy.
	This makes a nice gift for dad to have on his desk at work.

Father's Day Placemat

Instructions

	Have your child draw a picture, color a design, or write a poem to dad on a heavy piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardboard.
	Place the finished product between two sheets of clear contact paper.
	Use the placemat to serve dad his next meal, maybe Father's Day breakfast in bed.

Photo Business Card Holder

Made from an empty cassette case!

Lots of possibilities! This one is made with rocks but you can choose anything to match your photo. Makes a great gift for Mom or Dad.

What you would need

		Photo
		Empty Cassette Holder
		Glue Stick
		Card Stock
		Scissors
		Low Temp Glue Gun

Instructions

Open up empty cassette case and fold top all the way back as shown. Business cards will fit in the pocket created by the open top.

Mount photo on card stock and cut it out in an interesting way. Hot glue to the lid flap. Hot glue rocks to the front.

You can also use silk flowers with a spring photo, sand with a beach scene, trinkets with a dress up photo. Just use your imagination!

Father's Day Recipe

Spoil Dad For Father's Day - Breakfast In Bed!! :)

Fruit Punch

Ingredients

	1 can chilled pineapple juice concentrate
	30-35 thawed strawberries
	1 liter strawberry ice cream
	2 liters chilled lime soda

Instructions

Combine pineapple juice concentrate, strawberries, and ½ liter ice cream; blend until smooth. To serve, pour into chilled punch bowl and add chilled lemon lime soda. Spoon remaining ice cream on top.

Father's Day Banana Flapjacks

Ingredients

	2 tsp. baking soda
	2 cups buttermilk
	2 cups flour
	2 eggs
	3 tbsp. melted butter
	2 scant tsp. salt
	2 cups sliced bananas (4 to 6 medium bananas)
	Maple syrup

Instructions

	In large bowl, dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk. Add flour, eggs, butter and salt. Stir lightly: the batter should be streaky and lumpy.
	Gently fold in bananas. Drop by spoonfuls onto a hot, lightly oiled griddle or skillet. Turn when bubbles begin to break on the top of the pancakes.
	Cook until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
	The batter will thicken as it sits. If necessary, use up to 1/2 cup additional buttermilk, milk or water to thin the batter.
	Makes about 1-1/2 dozen, 4 inch pancakes.

Gift Basket

Instructions

	Decorate a basket and then fill it with stuff that your dad would like.
	If dad's a chocolate fan, fill the basket with Hershey Kisses, homemade Brownies, chocolate cookies, small candy bars, small bags of M&M's, etc.
	If your father's a gardener you could fill it with seeds, hand tools, plant markers, etc. Try to think of what dad likes the most and then fill the basket with stuff related to it.

Make A Family Video

Instructions

	A funfilled activity for the whole family on Father's Day can be preparation of a family video wherein each person in your family can present views on your Dad.
	Another special idea could be prepare a video in advance making your father's friends, relatives, colleagues and even the family present their views on Dad.
	Show this video to dad on his special day and amaze him.

The little girl was sitting in her grandfather's lap as he read

stroking her own cheek, then his again.

Finally she spoke, "Granddaddy, did God make you?"

"Yes, sweetheart" he answered,
